The Perfect Addition to a Home Theatre System

Great Product
I received a DVDO Edge as a gift, and has been great. The Edge is loaded with features so I will only focus on my favorites. First, it has plenty of inputs so I just run one single HDMI cable to the TV - everything else connects to the Edge.
My wife thinks the best part is the automatic input switching. She was constantly getting confused on how to change the TV inputs for the DVD player, satellite box, Wii, etc. She would call me at work and I would once again go over the proce...

Awesome product!
Just got the DVDO Edge and wow! Nice piece of equipment.
Upgraded firmware to 1.21 ... hooked up the Time Warner cable box (SA 3250HD) with DVI-HDMI cable + Optical for sound and Apple Mac Mini (10.5.7) using PLEX for Home Media Center with DVI-HDMI cable + Optical for sound. TV is Samsung UN**B7100.
Still learning some of the finer points of the DVDO, but so far I am impressed. Nice additions: Auto Wake Up, Auto Standby, Hot Plug source.

Good on the second attempt
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I received the Edge very promptly, but didn't set it up until a day or two later. When I did, I found the instructions very helpful, yet there were not any good sections on FAQ. My audio was not working and I had to work on my own to determine if it was the way I set up the processor to work between my tv and pre-amplifier. Still waiting to get a working unit
I'm holding off on reviewing the actual DVDO EDGE product because the unit that I received was defective and I'm still waiting to receive an RMA replacement unit. My 3 star rating reflects that fact the I'm not likely to receive a working unit until perhaps 4 weeks after my original purchase. The DVDO support people were quite supportive and friendly, but my RMA request got "buried on the desk of a person who left for a week of vacation", so I'm a bit frustrated by the delay.
