Pros: All around good drive (it is currently at the best price/gigabyte nexus)
Cons: It comes jumpered for SATA 1.5 Gb/s, not SATA 3.0 Gb/s. Remember to change the jumper if your controller supports the faster speed.

Great Drive!

Pros: Perpindicular tech, NCQ, SATA2, 16Meg Cache, fast and quiet, 5 year warranty, bang for the buck.
Cons: Not really a con, but to enable 3.0Gb/s you need to remove a very small jumper. Since this is an OEM drive, there's no manual to tell you this. You must look on the drive label to figure it out. No problem for me, but some newbies might not know about it.

Pros: When you get lucky really fast, quite reliable drive. I got lucky with mine (Singapore), My friend got one from China (unlucky)
Cons: Not all drives are the same, some are from China and some from Singapore. Problem is that most drives from China come with different motor, which causes the drive be noiser and slower.

Pros: Works great, runs cool, fairly quiet, and at it's current price, it's the best bang for your buck. I'll be buying 2 more of these drives in the near future.
Cons: It doesn't do backflips.
Other Thoughts: RAID? My harddrive came well sealed. There were no termites, wasps, or any other insects nesting in it, so I haven't had to use RAID....
