Very misleading, highly disappointed
In the ad it says the product is USB powered and when I received it, its actually the usual Electric powered hard drive. I already have 2 of electric powered hard drives, the reason why I bought this product was because it said its USB powered and I planned to have one for my travelling. Big & Green but not fast
This review is from: Seagate 1.5 TB USB 2.0 External Desktop Hard Drive ST315005EXA101-RK (Black) (Electronics) This is a nice drive for backup files. The 'Green' feature works very well. When the drive is idle, it uses much less power.
I cannot use this drive to stream DVD VOBs to my media player. The 1GB version of this works great for streaming VOBs.

I have a Maxtor one touch III, but it is not compatibile with my new Windows Vista 64 Bits system and Maxtor does not have software to make it compatible. Does anyone know if this Seagate 1TB desktop External hard drive is 64-bit compatible?? Thanks.
