Half genius, half idiot
I have the analog only and the newer digital TV tuners from KWorld (newer one is called Viore').
But are really good tuners. And they will grab a TV show in very high quality on your hard drive, as advertised.
But the support and documentation is not even close. And the software is buggy. Some help and menu screens are in Chinese or something. My analog tuner wouldn't stay on "antenna" input. It would go there on request, but when the menu closed, the change was not ma...

Mostly satisfied
I purchased this product in February of 2007. It worked quite well for watching TV and I like the interface, however I was not at all impressed with the recording capabilities. Particularly the audio would somewhat cut in and out no matter what quality setting you put the settings at in the preferences. This was the only major gripe I had. My computer is plenty powerful enough so I don't see how that could be the cause of the audio problems because I don't have trouble in that area with any ...

Watch out for KWorld Rebates
I purchased one of these back in March and was very pleased with it's performance. Installation was quick and easy even though I was running Vista. They had updated software on their site so with one simple download I was up and running. At the time I purchased mine it had a $30.00 rebate which I never received. I had read that they were tough to get rebates from but I took my chances and it never payed off. Other than that this seems to be a good product for the money.

GREAT FOR CABLE!
I originally purchase the KW-ATSC 340U tuner. I thought that I needed the digital to be ready for the transition. My cable company will be sending the basic cable signal in analog after the transition so an all digital stick will not work on cable. I purchased this analog tuner and I could not be happier. It works every time without a hickup. It does get a little hot. It is also heavy so I would recommend a short extension cable because the weight pulls the tuner down and it loses the usb c...
