Very pleased, a nice progressive scan surprise!
I just picked this tuner up from the local store on a bit of a limb. There's not many reviews out there, but I went for it anyway.
First I should be clear, I'm not using this as a tv tuner. I honestly have no idea how well that aspect of this unit works, but I do know that for what I want it for, it works wonderfully.

Amazing product
This is a really amazing product, you can watch tv, dvd or play videogame (xbox, ps2, etc) and work with your computer at the same time using the PIP function. It does support several color systems, also PAL-M here in Brazil, all resolutions until 1280x1024 and 1440x900 resolution of widescreen monitors. It worths the price.

It works, but it is definitely not the best
I bought this to replace a similar box from Planar, which is my standard for comparison here. So easy to set up and great value!
This is so easy to set up and is surprisingly versatile with regards to inputs and outputs. I had a doubt about how I was going to connect my laptop to the monitor and switch between the TV and computer. The device patches between your computer and the monitor and while it is turned off, passes the signal from your computer to the monitor. When you turn it on, it turns on the TV full screen. With the frequent coupons that KWORLD puts out buying this unit for under ($...) is a snap. the hookups are very easy and intuitive, the onboard speaker sounds like a fly buzzing inside the box, and if you try to hook up unpowered external speakers you get the same result. There is nothing on the box or in the packaging to tell you that you need the external speakers to be powered, heck, for an extra $5 they could have thrown in a speaker amplifier onboard and then I wouldn't have to worry abo...

works as advertised
This product allowed me to watch TV on the LCD monitor without much hassle. The only catch was that I needed to set the resolution on the monitor to 800x600 before disconnecting it from the computer. After that I was able to increase the resolution using this product and it continued to work. The manual is pretty bad, but the product is good.

Works as expected
I bought this box as a gift to my parents, I plugged it to a ViewSonic Projector to use it as a TV, and it works perfect, the TV tuner has all the features that a TV should has, also you can configure the aspect radio and also the resolution.
Five stars for this little box. Indeed, I'm gonna buy another one for me.

Picture okay - Speaker Bad
I hooked this tuner up to a 15 inch lcd computer monitor. This monitor is used only as a television in the kitchen. I do not have any computer components hooked up to it. It came with the wires necessary to turn a computer monitor into a tv. The picture quality is average; not nearly as good as an lcd television. The speaker is completely unacceptable. Good Product
It performs like it suppose to. It turns my monitor into a back up television instantly. RGB plug works great, but the other output does not work.

great TV tuner
My monitors are better than my TVs and I was looking for a TV tuner card but didnt want to spend a lot on it. This tuner after rebate is the best value. Turned my monitor into a better TV then my TV in a matter of minutes. Only con is the anteanna input is shorter than standard since the case covers most of it.
