Pros: Just plugged it in and fliped one of the pin swicthes and had picture. had to a little adjusting and works great

TV VGA Converter
This works okay for dvd video off of my old sony viao laptop. I do not have a S-video out port just vga and the picture is blurry if im viewing the desktop (microsoft windows). Web surfing is also a no go. Too blurry. I bought this in hopes that I could use the old laptop to view dvd video and surf the web from my tv (older crt style) but it just isn't a clear enough picture for web surfing. Pros: This device is simple to install, basically plug and play for lower resolutions. The price is reasonable too. Small compact design.
Cons: Doesn't provide a cable or adapter for DVI. But these are readily available.

Does what I wanted it to do
There are many videos on the web that restrict the recording or timeshifting of movies/videos. This box bypasses all this to create a signal that allows you to take your VGA cable out of your PC, hook into box via S-Video input and gives you a choice of rca plug video out or S-Video out to TV or recorder of choice. Don't waste your money
I purchased a KWorld SA235 PC to TV from another web vendor. It produced no video output from composite or s-video outputs, and bright, blurry, and left shifted video from the vga output. I tried all the allowed input resolutions. I checked the video format switches. I tested all my video inputs with other devices, and they all passed. I returned the SA235 for replacement. I bought the converter after I read the reviews. I totally agree those positive comments--great product! Only a minor issue that there is no label for input or output. But it's documented.

I bought this product because of the reviews and recommendation from Tiger staff, but it was a big disappointment for me. I bought this to watch internet movies on my big screen, and it was horrible, even with the highest resolution. I returned it the same day to exchange for a graphic card with an S video out. I definitely would not recommend this for a little older big screen TV's.

This is a simple little device, but it works great. I use it to display my laptop screen on a CRT television. As expected the CRT display is a little grainy, but overall the picture is very good. I am 100% satisified. I did get a 6 foot video cable (two male connectors at each end), and that made it much easier to connect to the TV. Highly recommended. Great for slide shows of digital photos.
