Bullet List of What Isn't Good
Lots of reviews here that cover the bases. So I'll limit this to a bullet list of some items I found annoying:
1. Hands free calling is not as good as my BlueAnt gizmo. Callers on other end said my voice sounded muddy and uneven. When I tried the Garmin 670, callers on the other end preferred it. But overall the Blue Ant was best.

Pro: Current Maps, accurate directions, ease of use, MP3 capability.
Cons: Only cassette-quality MP3 playback, must frequency-hop to find clear stations in built-up areas, could not find Interstate Rest stops as POI.

A must have in an emergency
I recently posted a review for the Garmin 750 but returned that one and got the 760. I originally purchased the c330 to introduce myself into the GPS world and about 3 weeks ago I had an emergency where I could not see. My mom had to drive me to the emergency room and we had to use the c330 to get there. I hope that those who read this will understand. Garmin 760 Nuvi - good product, not perfect
Have been using this unit for about a month or so.
Pros:
1. Easy to use right away. A very intuitive product.
2. Suction cup mount is perfect as is - do not believe reviews that say otherwise.
3. Bluetooth connectivity setup was easy and works well. I don't think my phone was listed as one supported by this unit.
4. Spoken street names and turn indications helpful.
5. Price on Amazon when I purchased ($440) was very competitive.

Great performance but need some improvement
This is a great unit! Since there are so many reviews already, I am not going to spend too much time talking about it. For me:
Pros:
1. Very accurate guidance. Almost never miss any turn.
2. Instantaneous lock on of satelite signal, no waiting for signal pick up. Unit never lost signal even in city driving.

Versitle GPS
First auto gps I've owned. The map is as shown in the ad but what I would not consider true 3D (check out the Navigon 7100 3D graphics). That said it does a pretty good job. The speaker does leave a bit to be desired being a bit tinny. You can use the FM transmitter to hear through your car speakers, but that isn't all it is cracked up to be. Best results I have observed is putting my music or audio books on the Garmin and use a cassette converter or mp3 input to your vehicle's audio system. It ...

Overall good product, but still far from perfect
I've had my 760 for a couple of months now and overall I'm happy with it. I like that it will give me traffic information, as well as restaurants, gas stations, etc. It has some features that are available that I don't really use such as bluetooth, mp3 player and it also allows you to get the voice to play thru your car speakers via an unused FM station frequency.

Recommended over TomTom 920T and Magellan 4250
I feel a great amount of sympathy for consumers shopping for a portable GPS systems or any sophisticated electronic product for that matter. There is such a dizzying array of models/brands/functions that it is both a blessing and a curse. I am very tech oriented and enjoy researching and evaluating new electronic gadgets. Nuvi 760 Software Version 2.10 / 2008 maps
This unit is replacing a nuvi 360, which is going to my sister. The nuvi 760 is still a bit hard to find. I found one in stock at a local SoCal retailer on 28-Oct.
