Good unit for the price
Spent a weekend reviewing various GPS devices to replace my less than 1 year old Mio C320 (avoid these like the plague) that had its battery die about 4 months after purchase. Best GPS I have ever Owned
I have owned quite a few GPS units all including Phone, Laptop and Dedicated. Flat out before I even get started the Garmin Nuvi 265WT is the best I have ever owned. Let me just make a couple of comments on the most important features.

Impressed!
After doing extensive research I decided on this unit. Mainly because the 265wt is one of their newer NUVI products and it had the features I was looking for. Awesome
Bought this Nuvi 1 week before Christmas and had to drive from Dallas TX to NJ. I have Microsoft Streets and Trips on my computer and the Nuvi actually took us a better and quicker route. It was awesome. Just plugged in the address and hit GO! It was sooooo easy to operate graphics were easy to read directions were right on and never lost satellite. This is my first GPS and would highly recommend it.

Before I decided to buy this Nuvi 265wt model, I had bought the Nuvi 760 model on Black Friday. The 760 model was okay at best. Great value GPS
After some research we bought a Garmin 205W but after using it a few times, it just didn't meet all our needs. I did more research and found the 265WT on Amazon.com. The 265WT has the lifetime traffic and bluetooth capability which the 205W does not- for the same price. IT ALSO DISPLAYS THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT, WHICH UPDATES AS SOON AS IT CHANGES (on a dime). Great product at good price
I spent about a month researching Garmin Nuvis before I settled on the 265WT. I knew I wanted a Nuvi, but wasn't sure of the features I'd want or need. All of the features on this unit are great. I don't use the Bluetooth, but do use everything else. I like the new firmware - the Eco Route is very useful for gas mileage purposes. There really isn't anything negative I can say about it. GREAT GPS

Pros: Wide screen, voice to text, bluetooth, lifetime traffic (awesome), anti-theft feature, displays the speed limit, & even calculates your gas useage.

Best GPS for the $$$
Without a doubt best GPS for the money. It was definitely worth spending the money to get a GPS with the traffic receiver. The ads which pay for the free traffic service are not intrusive and do not interfere with the use of the device. My one dissappointment is the notification of upcoming turns is a bit short and should be longer.
