GREAT THING!!!
Very fun toy, all of the boys love it, even the men! A toy for all ages, my youngest is 6 and is a wiz!!! I bought 3 so there is no more fighting!

My 11 year old loves it!
It took him about 30 minutes to learn how to balance it, but after that he was off. It glides smoothly and is easy to manouver. Great quality!

My cousin had a hi-tide and I thought it was fun so I decided to buy one. when I went to Walmart and I saw the Ripstick. It was cheaper so I bought it. I found out that it went faster, was lighter, and it had better quality. It's wheels wear down every once and a while but it last longer. then I found out that his was broken and I still have mine so it last longer to. If I was you I would buy the ripstick.

Good for "old" as well as young
OK I'm just a big kid, I'm 42 and I ride my Ripstik every time I go to the park. It took a few hours when I first got it to get the hang of it but it really is a lot of fun, I never ride my skateboard any more. I definitely recommend wearing a helmet with this product.
I think it is very well made, mine is 2 years old now and still rides like it is new. Also, if you have ever priced "real" skateboards, the Ripstik is a total bargain, it is much cheaper than getting a skateboard deck/tru...

Wonderful for developing balance & confidence
Our 10-year-old son was begging for this since his friends got Ripstiks for Christmas. I was terrified that he would fall off and hit his head or break a bone. We gave in and he used his 1st Communion money to buy the silver edition (so he could be different than everyone else). We have been amazed! Since it is winter, and he can't take it outside, we have allowed him to take advantage of the wheels being clean and let him practice throughout our house. He glides past us on the hardwood hallway ...

Purchase for Christmas
I got this for my 13yo son and had college son home who learned from him and now wants one!! They luv this board but college son won't be getting one until it goes on sale again. Got from online site for $56, so has to wait until I can find close to that. But great it is a great fun board!!
