Durability: Fun: Educational: I bought this for my son's 5th birthday and he loves it. I was a little hesitant due to the price versus some of the other "big wheel" bikes but I am so glad I decided on this one. It is very well made and sturdy. Durability: Fun: Educational: The toy is better then others of this type I have seen. I can't help comparing the same bike I got for my kids when they were little and this one I got for my Grandson. Why can't you make them bigger like they used to be? Again, the quality is much better then most.

beware the pedals!
Durability: Fun: Educational: This is a pretty solid bike. It is a shame the pedals won't stay on it! They fell off after only an hour. This is also best for older kids. It was way too big for my 2 year old. Seems that if they could make a better design for the pedals and lower the price a bit it would be better.

Close to the 70's Big Wheel
Durability: Fun: Educational: I was looking for a "Big Wheel" for my grandson like the ones that my children rode in the 70's. Of course, that company is not in business anymore, so this was as close as I could get to that. It is excellent quality, sharp looking and my grandson loves it. Brings back great memories!!

lacks traction
Durability: Fun: Extremely well made and durable. Looks cool too. It is great on flat surfaces but it's hard to make it up a hill. Your weight is all on the back so the front wheel spins when you try to climb up slanted surface.
Holding up quite well since Santa brought them to two 5 year old boys. Grandma especially likes the tall flags on the back. Since they are low to the ground, this is great for visability.

He loved it when we gave it to him UNTIL he tried to ride it. My son only weighs 46 lbs and upon sitting on it for the FIRST time the forks holding the front wheel collapsed and the bike folded. Durability: Fun: Educational: My son is very hard on his Big Wheels. In fact, he has gone through 2 Big Wheels. Because he skids, or his sister stands on it behind the seat when he is driving (isn't that how you are supposed to ride it??), he always flattens the Big Wheel tire and or it literally cracks.
