BUY IT..!!!
I was looking for a great camera that had an awesome zoom and take very clear photos. I did a lot of research between the point-and-shoot cameras vs. the dSLR ones. Great camera
This is my third Sony camera and it is phenomenal for the price. I have a 4-month old son and I have been frustrated trying to capture pictures of him at the moment he smiles. Its no longer an issue with Sonys smile detection system. I just set it and then wait for him to smile. The camera knows exactly when to take the photo to capture his smiles. Everything I dreamed of
This camera was described to me as a "bridge" camera. It is not a point and shoot, and not an SLR. It is a bridge between the two. And, for my money, better than both. Shutter speed, focus points, macros... and my favorite feature is the battery charging mechanism.
One doesnt have to plug in the camera, rather you simply place the battery in a simple cradle that plugs easily into any outlet... even those with little space. Its a quick charge, and works for hours. I never went ...

Awesome Camera!!
Bought this camera about 3 weeks ago and have gotten some of the best pictures ever of my son yard flowers fireworks and more!! I am a novice when it comes to photography and I have found this very easy to use even in manual mode!! It takes Great pictures and the movies are good too!!

Awesome ....best in Point and Shoot cameras..
When i first heard about this ...i thought this would be one more of big launch from Sony ..then i checked it out at Sony Outlet and found it amazing...got it the first day this was lauched ..in 2 weeks took close to 700 wonderful pictures and found each one come out very well.
Took some time to adjust to the new feautres but once i got a hang of it it very easy to use.
Little expensive but u can't price tag memories...

Excellent camera
Just bought the camera Friday Sept 6 and I left for Europe the next day. Used it nonstop for the last 15 days didnt read any of the instructionsjust played a little with the ones that appear on the LCD and it couldnt have been easier to use or thepictures any sharper. The Sony has auto focus night vision movie with sound recording capabilities again all built in its been one of my best camera purchases ever. Highly recommended!

A versatile gadget
I'm quite fond of the Sony megazoom series of cameras, and I recently upgraded from a Sony DSC-H1 to DSC-H50. I was actually still quite happy with the H1, more than 3 years after buying it, but a couple of features on the H50 made me invest in the new model:

Great Camera! I'm in Love!
This is a great camera. I was trying to decide between a Canon PowerShot Pro Series S5 and this sony. My mother owns the canon, so I got to see how BEAUTIFUL the pics were and how great the camera was. But in the end I went with Sony. This is my first Sony cam, and I am SO GLAD I went with it. Great camera
I think this camera has very good features as a whole. brThis is the third Sony camera that I have owned and it does a wonderfulbrjob except for some reason it doesnt have the feature for superimposingbrthe date on the images. I will keep it because the other features are fantastic.
