I have had my Pannie for a few months now. Awesome camera !!!
This is my second Panasonic camera and it is the best yet. Just point and shoot from distance shots to close ups. The autofocus is simply the best I have seen.

Great Camera Cheap!
I love a lot of the macro features .... sunset, beach, and burst mode are excellent. The camera takes really nice pictures ... color, clarity are excellent. The focus works very well for a point and shoot and it processes a picture very quickly so you are ready to shoot again in no time. Even low-light (the bane of digital cameras) pics are pretty good. Very Nice point and shoot
I bought this camera for my wife. I have a DSLR, but it is a little complex for her to just pick up an use. I like this cameras siple layout and ease of use. I captured some very goo pictures in a museum, where other point and shoots would have struggled with the lighting and white balance.
My only complaint is that it doesn't have an optical viewfinder, but more and more point and shoots afe forgoing that option. The LCD on this Panasonic is big and bright enough that it hasn't been...
