NOT Waterproof!
I had this camera for a little over one year, and thought it took good photos. I never took it into the water until this summer, which fried it instantly. Since it was more than one year old, the warranty had expired, and Olympus wasn't interested in trying to help. Buy it, Love it!
Green for some reason is cheaper than the others but I can't see why, its better looking in person.
Bought this camera and simply love it. It takes any video length I want. Pictures look great. Videos look great. Its durable, waterproof etc.. Easy to operate and sleek. I didn't find anything I didn't like about it. My dell studio and dell inspiron both take the sd card so no cables needed to upload my pictures and video.

Stopped working after 3 hours of use
I received this product several months ago as a gift. I like to snorkel and my girlfriend gave me this as a generous gift. I used it this weekend to take pictures during a boat trip. After taking some great pictures and video and recharging the battery, I powered-up the camera only to find that the digital display on the camera is no longer working. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA
I bought this camera and used it for several day kayaking trips. NEVER dropped it, NEVER submerged it, ALWAYS was careful. I am a part time photographer. Last week I tried the camera and it would not power up. Changed batteries, etc. DEAD CAMERA. Emailed Olympus. Still waiting to hear from them. What a waste of $$$$.

Not a reliable camera.
Olympus would be expected to produce a camera that lives up to the description, but this camera does not. It will leak. The seals MUST BE REPLACED BY AN AUTHORIZED OLYMPUS DEALER YEARLY at your expense. The seals are VERY fussy and they are prone to collect debris and lint. Olympus does not seem to think that end users should be allowed to change the seals and they do not indicate any method to use any sort of lubricant/sealer to improve the seal.
