Great Camera; no auto-bracketing
 
Purhcased as my entry into the dSLR market. I was able to track down a price of under $500 locally for both the 55-200 & 18-55 lenses, and am very happy. Still learning the ins, outs, etc. but from what I can see from the pictures, great entry camera and would highly recommend for a first time purchaser/entry into the dLSR market.

As a downside it should be noted that the d60 does NOT have auto-bracketing, something to keep in mind...

For the price, can't be beat. There are some issues...
 
For the price, this dslr is fantastic. The kit 18-55 VR lens is incredible, and with the release of the 35mm DX f1.8 prime, this camera now has the affordable basic tools needed for the budding photographer. ISO 800 performance is better than expected, and ISO 400 and below produces razor sharp, nearly noiseless images.

The major advantage in picking up a D60 is the Nikon family of lenses. The D60 lacks in features when compared to Sony and Canon's entry level dslr's, but it certain...

For a novice photographer, I made the right choice.
 
This is an awesome camera for a beginner, easy set up, easy to use. I just started taking pictures for airliners.net and it's a light weight camera for a quick point and shoot. I highly recommend this DSLR.

Great DSLR
 
This is a great DSLR for amateurs or beginners. The image quality is excellent and the camera is pretty straight forward to use.

The only reason that I give this camera 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 stars is because it only has 3 points of focus.
