Having tried over a dozen digital cameras I've found the features and picture quality of the SX20 IS to be the best yet in this size and weight. Naturally everyone wants better low light performance and while this could still be better, its the best I've seen in outside of digital SLRs. Excellent HD Video and Photo's
I've owned 5 Canon digital cameras over the years and only 1 let me down. I bought this because I wanted 1 camera that did it all. I own the sx200is and love it but was looking for more zoom, I attend alot of air shows. I'm not a professional , but I do take many photo's when traveling and at family functions. I was tired of taking a camcorder and a still camera around and my SX200IS I own did not do zoom video any justice. After much research I settled on the SX20IS and have never been happier....

Canon SX20IS first impressions
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This is my first quality digital camera and it far exceeds my expectations. I am a novice user but I have been getting exceptional photos using the SX20IS camera. I have been taking pictures mainly of an outdoor nature, flowers, gardens and the like. The pictures have not been saturated with too much green or overloaded with hues. The zoom comes in very handy in outside shots.
