Outstanding
This 56 is simply amazing. I have had it about 8 months and the picture quality is breathtaking. We just watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Beijing and my neighbors were mesmorized. I have the tv connected to my Sony system and except forthe echo when both volumes are up just turn you tv volume down I have no complaints. I bought the thing for $1170.00 and could not be happier.

Amazing TV
After months of research I decided I was going to go with the Samsung DLP 56. I got a great deal from CC $1300 with the 3 months no interest deal. I also bought a DVD 1080P upconverter and everything looks amazing. Friends see the TV and cant believe the picture quality. Great value
I bought the Samsung to replace a 1080i rear-projection tv that went out. I did shop around and I could not find a better deal. The speakers are adequate for normal tv viewing and I use a home surround sound system when I am watching movies. The picture is much clearer and I currently have no complaints. Impressive HDTV. Big bang for the buck!
I've had this HDTV for a week and am completely satisfied with it. The picture quality is top notch and the set is easy to operate. There are plenty of inputs for other components and I use many of them already. Over the air 1080i HDTV from the major networks and PBS is amazing, it's hard to believe broadcasts of this quality are free. Perfect Replacement
I have been into the HD for awhile now. I originally bought a Mitsubishi WD-52725 from Tweeter back in 2005. It just died on my a few days ago. One thing I must say is I paid $3300 for that TV. This is my second Samsung - got a great price as Best Buy had it on sale and CC matched it plus another 10. Replace an older 720P DLP that I got 4 great years out of and paid 3X over this new one. Three 1080P HDMI ports - AppleTV HD PS3 and BlueRay look absolutely beautiful. After a week still trying to optimize the picture further.
