Man this is big!
Bought this in September 08.brbrGreat TV for high definition viewing. Its standard def quality is good but this is made for High Def. Watched the Buffalo Bills vs Oakland Raiders game in HD - was blown away.brbrCompare this side by side to a 58 Samsung Plasma in the store and you will see a slightly better picture on the Samsung. Fantasic TV!
My husband and I really like this TV. Awesome is the word. I like to watch movies and horse events and it really makes them look great. You can see all the details clearly. Like rider position and small details you cant see with a smaller TV. The screen size is like being in a theater. We love it. IT has a very clear picture and almost no glare. We have a large living room and it is wonderful for a big size room. It has bright vivid colors which make it fantasic to watch.

Couldn't be happier
We went from a 61 Samsung to the 73 Mitsubushi. Wife thought it would be massive but was surprised how it fit right in. That is because the tv has a very small edge so more screen. Awesome picture. Frank said $350 for a bulb but on their website they show $99 so not sure where he was looking. This is the biggest tv you can get without going to a projector and the cost factor makes it a steal. Least at what I paid $1999. Highly recommend.

Extremely nice pictures in HD, even regular stations look great
3rd Mitsubishi TV and is the best of them all so far. Can no longer easily watch my old 48. No comparison in pictures! Football and Weather look awesome using HDMI that came with Satelite Recevier. still need to connect Home theater system to check outsounds speakers are ok by themself

Best set I have ever owned! My favorite for years was Panasonic and Sony, move over!
Picture and sound are superior! PS3 Blue-ray is the perfect accessory! I also purchased the BellO AVSC-9870 stand and it was a perfect fit.

Great TV!
Ive had this TV for awhile. I like to wait awhile to make sure I can give an honest review. This TV is exceptional. I have the Directv HD package HD DVD and a Blu-Ray DVD. One looks better than the next. Even regular DVDs are breathtaking. The quality of the picture is unbelievable. I have an Onkyo home theater connected and its unreal. Sports in HD is unbelievable. Gotta Big Room? Get This TV !!!
I bought and placed this tv at one end of a 19 x 42 game room. Theater seating is closest to the set then a counter height table and eight stools and finally a bar and stools at the far end of the room. This tvs picture is so awesome that everyone inthe room can see it very clearly even from 40 away! The factory speakers dont come close to what you get from a surround system but are still good enough for it to be heard clearly from one end of the room to the other. I wouldnt recommend this set...

Absolutely awesome
To the reviewer Ashley - You are insane. If youre picture quality sucks then you bought a defective TV.brbrMy wife and I absolutely are amazed by this TV. It has bright vivid colors even in regular light from our living room. I gave sound quality a middle ground star because we use a receiver with our surround sound system. The cost is high but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for cinema quality in your home this is the only TV we would consider.

id give it five stars and think its a great value to anyone. the price for a very large screen is fantastic. the picture is excellent. it is very user friendly. my wife loves it. id recomend it to anyone who wants to own alarge screen tv.
