Clear voice, overall good quality
So far so good. I got the base and three additional hand sets. The voice quality is very good; no static at all. The speaker phone is also surprisingly good.
It would be nice to be able to use a hand set to record the outgoing messages on the answering machine. Using the speaker phone, despite the quality, allows more background noise on the messages than I would like.
An indicator for provider voice mail would be a nice feature that is lacking.

Solid DECT 6.0 2 line phone
I purchased the RCA 25250RE1 base unit with answering machine to start my system off. I have since purchased 6 more of the H5250RE1 handsets to expand my system. The build quality and durability has exceeded my expectation for the price range and features. I have 1 standard wired line and 1 VIOP line running to the base unit that allows me to use the 2 line features. Nice phone - Does not interfere with your WiFi network
I own this phone and a base station set. I like both very much. It maintains a very clean connection across the entire length of my house. Most important, it does not interfere with my wireless computer network.

Added 4th handset
I added a 4th handset for my wifes convenience but the volumn is low
and I haven't found how to turn it up. I haven't looked either. The first three sets work great, but I wouldn't go past 4 or 5 add ons.

Blue Light Special
I have a 10,000 square foot house. The 2.4GHz phones work ok, 5.8s don't reach so I was really looking forward to testing this. It worked great. Could reach in every room.
There are several problems though. I am 47 and use reading glasses. First, the display is smaller than Panasonic and hard to read. The user interface is just not as good as Panasonic. RCA Handset H520RE1
This is a very busy instrument. Lots of buttons and many ways to enhance the system. BUT for the guy/girl wanting to use the phones' fantastic enhancements, one needs a course in tech speech, acronyms, and system speech. I would not suggest to others that were interested mostly in normal simple communications dealing with calling out and receiving calls. The enhancements must be exercised daily to maintain proficientcy.
