Other Thoughts: This phone doesn't even make a good backup for our cell phones. The battery life is horrible and they randomly display a message "out of range". The handset will be on the base, but still display the message. It will not ring or obtain a dial tone when this happens.

Cons: Could be easier to use, keys are back lit but the numbers are not visible in the dark.
Other Thoughts: Overall this is a good product. The sound quality and range of the phone is very good. Since we primarily use our cell phones this makes a nice backup phone for our home.

Display breaks down over time
I've had my phones for about three years now, and the displays are getting garbled and unreadable. Resetting by pulling the battery does nothing. These are NOT worth the money!

LOVE them! NO static. What a buy now. Can't believe the negative reviews!!
My battery after nearly 2 years of using, is finally going in my phones. That is what brought me to looking at buying new ones. Did the search and found these new phones cheap! I also purchased my parents a set a while back when they were $99. Their phones are now flickering after nearly 2 years use with the digits hard to see.
