These pans are brilliant! They heat fast and hot yet can hold perfectly low temperature for chocolate fondue. I've done all kinds of varieties of fondue in these and been impressed every time. I did oil fondue for 6 people and it cooked the food lightning quick and stayed at a perfect temperature even though there were 12 pieces of food in the oil almost constantly. Those stupid little cans of Sterno don't do it like this does. With this pan you can do everything in the pan, no stupid heat it up...

I purchase this fondue pot from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't sure if I would use it but after having a surprise birthday party for a friend; another friend brought cheese fondue and I thought it was great. She had the Rival fondue pot. I researched several other fondue pots and when I saw this one I loved the way it looked. I have a chocolate fondue fountain but it has its limitation (mostly just for chocolate). After using old sterno can fondue pots for 30 years, this one takes the cake. Itkeeps the temperature just perfect for hours - no fussing with sterno cans. Clean up is so easy with the non-stick surface and if you are worried about the cord hanging over the edge of the table (getting tripped on or pulled by a young child), don't worry - they made an easy release/magnetic connection so that it cannot be pulled over. Nice pot for occassional use
If you just want a fondue pot for every now and them, this is a good one. It gets the broth nice and hot and cooks the food well. Its a wide pot so make sure you put enough liquid in to cover the meat, that was a problem we had with one recipe. Made very well and seems durable.
