Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Was a little disappointed with the gauge of the sides, thought it would be heavier. However, I am very happy with the set. Heats quicker than the Calphalon set that I am replacing, cleans quickly as well.

Great cookware for the money
This is a great set for the little money it cost. I could easily have spent more and gotten less. Cleans easily and cooks well, although I do notice temperature differences in the bottoms of the pans that the aluminum layer was supposed to eliminate, this set still cooks better than my old set and I am very happy.

Very Good Enough!
My wife and I had long wished to obtain a quality stainless steel cookware set.We had been using 35 year old basic stainless pots that had performed OK but not well.
We had priced All-Clad and its competitors, but sticker shock always got in the way of a purchase. I then read the equipment review in Cook's Illustrated and fond this set on Amazon. Great cookware set
I really like this cookware. It is very attractive and practical. It works as expected: takes a while to heat up and holds heat very well. I'm very pleased with this great set, but I'll point out the few reasons I rate it less-than-perfect.
The set is quite complete, but for me, is larger than it needs to be. It was the smallest set I found with all the pieces I need. It's a lot of cookware to store.
The pots work as well as I could hope. Holding heat is especially effic...
