Great quality to value ratio
If you are looking for a non-stick saute pan this is a great deal. The pan heats quickly and evenly, so keep the heat at medium and lower. The handle stays cool enough to handle, and the see through lid is great for viewing the food, or keeping the moisture in for some braising. The pan is more difficult to get a good browning than a stainless, but only because it has the non-stick coat. Also makes very good pan sauces, again not with the depth of flavor you'd get from the searing a stain...

Cuisinart rocks!!
I very thoroughly researched all the nonstick hard-anodized products out there and decided on Cuisinart because it had the most vesatile product selection. The 5-1/2 quart saute pan is the bomb!!! It heats faster, cooks faster, and clean-up is a breeze. The first time I used it, I cooked a stove-top dish I have cooked many times, but because the hard-anodized cooks faster and hotter, I neglected to turn the heat down to accommodate this and the whole meal was burned and I thought to myself, O...

Bowed Bottoms
We purchased this to use on a glass top stove, and found that the pan was not flat.
We assume that not all are bowed, but ours was.

flimsy
The non-stick surface is fine, but the pan is no better than what you can find at the supermarket: flimsy, light and therefore prone to hot spots. For $49 I guess I can live with the thing, because one does not use a non-stick pan for any serious cooking. If I had paid $149 I would return it in a heartbeat.

What a pan!!
I ordered this pan with my family of 5 in mind!! To go from stove to oven is great!! I did burn cheese in it, and it came off in a whole piece!! No more scrubbing burnt or caked on foods anymore. I love this pan so much I ordered the 3 1/2 quart also.

2 pans -> 2 damaged pans -> poor product quality
in defense of Amazon.com, the pan was not damaged during shipping. It appears that the nonstick surface has been gouged on both pans. I just got a refund. Poor Quality. Don't waste your time.

My favorite pan!
Super easy cleanup, no scrubbing at all. Great size so you can easily make for 2 or more. You won't find a better pan at a better price. Just buy it already!

Nice nonstick
For a family of 4, this pan is good size. Quality is good. The glass cover is a plus. I bought it at around $25. I have been using this for 4 months almost everyday. Durable.

Would be much nicer if the lid fit...
It's a lovely, heavy pan. However, the lid does not fit. I ordered this through "Best Overstocks" seller and will not use them again. Not only was the order eight days past "latest arrival date" but when I contacted the seller they never bothered to reply. To add insult to injury, two of the three pots in the order are warped so that the lids do not fit. Amazon's A-Z Guarantee refunded only the shipping.
