great network storage. HP software is intuitive and easy to set up. I used it in research lab and connected 6 computers on network to the storage to do automatic back up. Software does not detect MediaVault if on different subnet. You can make changes in IP host file so that it looks for it on given IP address. Overall very satisfied with it.

Great File Server
 
Great stand alone (no host needed) file server. Great for Back-up or streaming video/music. Great Build quality. Lihe having option to do a RAID 0 (Stripped) or RAID 1 (Mirrored).
