A very good coffee maker in spite of negative reviews
After buying a succession of cheap coffee makers which broke down after a year or two and made mediocre coffee, I decided to upgrade to Cuisinart.
I don't agree with the negative comments about this product.
The clock is easy to program and it's clearly indicated that you should either use paper or gold filter (twice in the instructions). It's also easy to pour water in the reservoir if you use the carafe. You can turn the coffee maker to the left, and the reservoir opening is easil...

Great...however
This coffee maker makes great coffee, is fairly easy to use, and is true red. However...when ordering they do not tell you that it uses a small charcoal type filter that needs to be replaced every month or two (depending on use) and that these filters are far from cheap!

This is one of the best coffee pots ever!
I read the reviews before purchasing and had some pre-conceived notions before getting the coffee pot in the mail. I used it last night for the first time and absolutely love it. I also programmed it to make coffee this morning and again had a great experience.
The instructions are about as clear as they can be, and it was super easy to set up and use. The place to pour the water is not as small as I expected from the reviews. Plenty of room to pour from the carraffe into the open...

Great Coffee
I searched all over and read many reviews before deciding on this coffee maker and I haven't been disapointed. What I really want is a great cup of coffee that is easy to make and this machine does just that.

I loved it when I saw it and it is well worth the price, I'd have paid more!. It's so easy to use and everyone who has seen it loved the color too, and they notice the taste is better. Good coffeemaker with a few shortcomings
This coffeemaker replaced a dead Krups. It makes very good coffee but it has a few design quirks that I think are going to be annoying in the long run. The coffee filter basket is not able to stand on its own, so you must fill it with coffee while it is installed in the unit. So, if you spill coffee it goes right into the unit.
