My 2nd excellent MP3 unit from Kenwood!
This is my 2nd MP3 player by kenwood. My first one was a much older model and after what seems like easily 6 or 7 years of faithful service I decided to upgrade.
The usb port on the front is what makes it worth the upgrade. I can put thousands of songs onto a dirt cheap thumbdrive and not have to worry about MP3 cd's all over my car.

Kenwood makes quality products - enough said
iTouch, CDs, tuner, flash drive all work seemlessly with the unit, with plenty of power for the average user. If you are one of those "I want to feel the bass shake the car" type of people, you will need a separate amp. Control surfaces feel well-made and sturdy, not typical for radios I've shopped for this price range.
The only drawback - not a do-it-yourself project. I ATTEMPTED to install this radio myself in our nanny's Honda Civic (I do not routinely do this because, being a doct...

Quality isn't there
I recent bought this unit (08/25/09). Works good and sound good. But one day when I parked car outside under the sun then the USB drive and CD won't able to play and have to wait until the unit to cool down to work properly again. Maybe just my bad luck but bought it on line and return or repair it, is a headach. Just FYI for everyone who is interesting on this unit.

Fantastic !!
I bought a JVC El cameleon for my car. One of the reasons was the bluetooth option for my phone. We purchased this in July for a road trip. We didn't want to spend a fortune and we wanted it to be user friendly to use. always quality products from kenwood
i have the older model of this head unit in my car,both, a little on the complex side as far as accessibility for the more advanced audio control, but both so far are an A+ . also, at this price it out-performs even higher end units. kenwood and amazon kicks a%& !

It's A Winner !
This is a wonderful system. I bought this primarily for my IPod. The sound is crystal clear. I heard instruments in familiar songs I never heard before ! The music just fills my car with great sound at a great price.

best car purchase ever!
works great, treats any old stock car system well, fixes the bass that most systems cant get out of old crummy stock speakers. Supports my sansa View Mp3/video player. Even works with my blackberry. Watchout if you use any additional amps---when you have the car on accessory, cause your battery will drain.

Awesome Head unit, Great value
For the price, you cant beat this head unit. Im usually all for Pioneer but for the price of this deck, you cant beat this deal. USB port in the front is awesome and the FM tuner pulls in a lot more radio stations then other head units ive used before.

KENWOOD KDC-MP342U WMA/MP3 CD receiver wtih satellite/hd/bluetooth
This CD player from kenwood is a good quailty player, with good audio at cheap price. Also nice it is setup for ipods and mp3's, as well as satellite & bluetooth if you have them. I just installed it in my truck the other night. It works great and sounds wonderful. It was very easy to install and looks sharp. I'm glad I bought it, I just realized that now I need to get new speakers.
