Kodak USB cable
I needed a replacement USB cable for my Kodak Easyshare camera and needed it quick in order to complete a slideshow for my students. Amazon offered the cheapest and fastest replacement. I had the cable the next day! Excellent product desription, service and delivery is what you get through Amazon.

MY EXPERIENCE
MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS PRODUCT WAS THAT I COULD NOT PURCHASE IT IN ANY CIRCUIT CITY STORE ONLY ONLINE. BUT THE GOOD PART OF IT ALL WAS THAT IT WAS CHEAPER THAT PURCHASING IT FROM MANUFACTURER THEMSELVES.

Not what I expected.
The Circuit City description of this cable was misleading at least for me. I needed a cable to connect my camera to a computer when Im away from my home and the description sez connects select Kodak digital cameras... so it seemed to be what I needed. In reality the cable doesnt connect to the camera just the camera dock my dock already has the required cable. Why could'nt they have used a USB B type cable
To bad Kodak had to make their on cable for just their camera. Would be nice if Kodak would just use the standard USB cable for a camera.

Highway Robbery for a proprietary cable!
I've used a number of Kodak digital cameras over the years - And at one time, I would recommend them exclusively to my family members, but I am pretty angered by Kodak's use of non-standard USB jacks and then gouging their customers when a replacement is needed.
If they used a standard USB to mini-USB cable, I could get it for five to ten bucks.
Many of the camera's that need this cable can be purchased refurbished now for about twice the price of the cable! It is insane t...
