Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) My desktop doesn't have enough memory to handle HD videos. Fortunately my laptop does. They're "jerky" on my desktop, but that's not the Flip's fault, I should have checked out the "minimum system requirements" more thoroughly. DISAPPOINTING PERFORMANCE
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I was soo looking forward to get this camcorder because it is supposed to be portable and functional since I am a realtor and would use it a lot to record my activities. Unfortunately I am very disappointed in it. The reason:

Slow play back on Older computer
Flip UltraHD works great, BUT make certain your computer is NEW and FAST or the videos will not play back right.
The processor speed needed for the MinoHD and UltraHD is very important for video playback.
It may be beneficial to look into getting a standard definition Flip Video Mino or Ultra which would be more compatible with a slower system.
Now I need to BUY a NEW COMPUTER or return the HD.

Overall great!
I got the flip Ultra HD as a gift and I was suspicious of a cam that could fit in your hand but I was happily wrong. It has remarkable resolution (720p) and great sound and the embedded software is versatile and easy. I took my Flip on vacation and hooked it to my brother's laptop and it installed with zero effort. Nice. Point and shoot and NEVER worry about focus or glitches ( I shoot sports and my kid chasing the dog).
