Used correctly, this seat is perfect!
I've been reading the reviews about people putting their babies in this in the rocking position, and that's entirely too early for this feature to be used. The rocker part is for when the child is old enough to reach the floor with his/her own legs. You wouldn't put a child in an adult rocking chair and you shouldn't use the rocking feature of this chair for babies either. It's for the toddler stage. I've had this rocker for 6+ years and none of my 3 children have ever fallen out because the...

Not Safe for Babies! Do not buy!
My 8 month old, 20 lb. daughter was sitting in this chair while it was in the rocking position. She was buckled in. She reached out to play with her toes and the chair pitched forward and she fell over with the chair still strapped to her. She fell face first onto the floor and hit her face on the floor and her face was pushed into the floor...she could not move her head. She could have been severly injured or suffocated.

I LOVE this rocker/chair!!!
I bought this rocker because my daughter loved to rock her self in her carrier. But as she got bigger (she is now 9 months), I had to start leaving the carrier in the car because it had gotten two heavy for me to carry. This chair is great! She continues to rock her self in it and I put it stationary when its time for her bottle. I never put the batteries in it for the vibration because shes calm and relaxed just being in the chair alone. Also, just wanted to comment about a previously written...

Better than a bouncy seat!
We purchased this for our 4th child. It is the first time we have not just gone with a bouncy seat. I really like it better than a bouncy seat because I don't have to worry about my older children sitting in it and totally bending the thing way out of shape. All it takes is a couple of times and a bouncy seat can be ruined. I LOVE that it only uses one D size battery. My older children love to rock the baby and I like that you have the option to make it immobile too. My only compla...

Very good item
I like this item a lot. I put my son in it so I can eat and shower. He does try to sit up but at this point he is fine in the harness but I do worry about him falling out. My complaint is that the toy cow faces the other way. It is really strange. The other two toys are hard plastic and my son ignores them. He likes the soft cow but again, the face is away from him.

Infant to Toddler is the perfect name!
I have the previous version of this rocker. My son absolutely loved it as a baby. Now he is 2 years old, and it is still his favorite place to sit in our living room. He does not use the toys anymore, and we never pull the kickstand out or use the straps, but he still falls asleep in it from time to time. I have hand washed and hang-dried the cover numerous times, and it still looks great with the same vibrant colors it came out of the box with. I really feel that I have gotten my money's w...

Well worth the money
I wish I had bought this sooner! When my 7 month old son started tipping his bouncer seat over, I replaced it with this, and I realized that he could've had it all along. He loves it, and I have seen him lean all the way forward and the rubber stoppers keep it from tipping over. I also like that it has the vibrating feature, which he realy liked in his bouncer. It is a great value since I know it will grow with him. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 becasue the toy bar is not quite in the right...

I love it!
I love this chair, it has all the features I had wished my first chair had. I like that you can recline the baby, most chairs are too upright and the babies head will flop over. My 6 week old loves it!

NOT SAFE
This chair can tip over if your child reaches forward, overbalancing the chair. My son tipped the chair and fell face first into the hardwood floor. Luckily, he was not seriously injured. The instructions for the chair say NOTHING about being usafe for infants who can sit up, but that is what a representative at Fisher Price had to say about it! "NOT SAFE FOR INFANTS WHO CAN SIT UP." Shouldn't that be on the instructions? Infant to Toddler Rocker is a misleading name, if that's the case. ...

Still Going Strong #2!!
Update: My daughter is now almost 3 years old and weighs about 32 pounds and this chair still works great for her -- but I have chased her out of it and passed it down to my 6-month old -- and it is still going strong. I have washed the fabric now about 50 times at least -- and both the fabric and the frame are still as sturdy as ever. If you are planning on having more than 1 child - and would like something that can be passed on -- this is it!! Great product!! ...
