works good
i had recently bought 2 10 subs for my truck and always the first thing that comes to my mind is theft. ever since i got this i havent had to worry a bit i highly recommend this if you have expensive subs or car electronics

Amazing product
I purchased this item at Circuit City in Frederick MD and it is one of the best buys I have ever done it is an amazing item for the price under $200. Great work by the guys at CC installing the product. I highly recommend this alarm to anyone that needs one.

Very nice alarm!
I purchased this specific alarm because it was cost effective. Dam this is a great alarm!! It took about 2 and a half hours to install but i didnt care as long as it was installed properly. Rob thanks for taking ur time and making it perfect!! My 2007 Cobalt is now protected and i like the features. Its nice and loud and i didnt have to buy extra item in order to get it installed. brVery nice product and would recommend it to anyone.

Great alarm for the money
I was leaning towards a expensive Compustar Alarm but opted to buy this hornet alarm instead. I can say that I am very happy with the alarm. The install is actually more important than the alarm with regard to keeping your car safe anyway. This is loadedwith all the features you need. Not the best range but does the job!
I bought this system mainly because I wanted the remote door entry and the security feature was just a bonus. besides the cheapest remote door entry costs more with installation then this one did. Once it was installed I played with it in the CircuitCity parking lot and its range stunk. nothing would happen from either side of the car from like 2 parking spaces away. Good Buy!
I bought this to put on my Blazer I was excited to finally get an alarm to protect my system. The range is great it isnt as horrible as everyone makes it to be. My driveway sits down at a very sloap angle and my car was near the garage and I was at thestreet and it stlll worked as long as you know where your antenna is youll be able to armdisarm from a good distance away. the chirp you get when your armdisarm your vehicle is pretty sweet. Exact same specs as the Viper 350 HV at $50 less including installation.brbrGreat basic system with excellent range. I was a bit doubtful at first but the DEI name ensures a quality product. Circuit City professional installation was outstanding. I havenot experieced any of the shortcomings mentioned in reviews listed about this product.brbrIm very pleased with this alarm.

pretty good!
I bought this because when I bought my car it was used and did not come with the original remotes for the door locks so having 3 kids thought id make things easier for me and got this mainly for the control to unlock the doors but it is very good so far. the volume of the alarm is sort of low i keep forgetting to ask if any way to turn up but other than that its great for this price! nothing super fancy which is just what I need!

Excellent car alarm for the price
I found this car alarm to be a lot better than some of the reviews I read before I made my purchase. The only negative thing I encoutered has the installation instructions. I have an electronics backround so it wasnt a problem but I would advise the average joe to have it professionaly installed.
