Excellent first DSLR
My good old point-and-shoot camera (one of the Canon PowerShot series) had served me faithfully, but I was growing frustrated with its limitations. Perfect, Period.
I shopped around for a new DSLR for over a month and I ended up with this one because it is the best camera out right now for you're money. It is easy to use and lightweight compared to other dslr's. I feel I made a wise purchase and would recommend this camera to anyone on a tight budget but looking for a real dslr. It was just released on the market 3 days ago so you'll have a modern product. I just got this camera last week. It lived up to all of the positive comments that I read in many reviews. HOWEVER, my camera has a defect that I suspect other cameras might also have. When I compose a shot with horizontal or vertical lines, they appear straight in the viewfinder, but in the picture that is taken, they are skewed by about 10-15 degrees. Great buy!!
For the money this SLR is great. Better than D60 D40 and d5000. The extra 2.2 mp is not worth the extra 200$. This camera is kicking is great. Lightweight and easy to adjust setting. Would recomend for beginner photo enthusiast. Enough to play with and has plenty of advanced setting also.
