Pros: It is fast and light. I upgraded from an xt, and the sensors features are suberb! It makes any one a professional! Seriously it takes pics of my saltwater reef tanks that will make you think your computer monitor is a fish tank!
Cons: Only con is silly, it fills an 8gb stick with 320 raw shots... which is exactly 500...

EVERYTHING YOU'D NEED
Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Everything I can think of. Big LCD, live view mode, great video quality. Pretty much any option I can think of is in the menu somewhere. No kit lens.
Cons: Autofocus in live view and during vidoes isn't great(it tends to go out of focus and then back in when you tell it to focus), but you can manual focus. Sound is mono.

Pros: Very light. This is my first SLR digital camera and I am very pleased with the mechanism. You may need the instruction booklet, but other than that this camera is the real deal. I ended up buying separately a 28-105 mm lens. Pictures are sharp!
